As a wholly owned subsidiary of Chicago Medical Society, the CMS Insurance Agency is truly unique.  They offer excellent service and support for your medical liability needs while supporting the objectives of the Chicago Medical Society, though you do not have to be a member of the Society to be client of the Agency.

Years ago, many professional liability insurance companies stopped writing policies in Illinois due to frivolous lawsuits and jackpot-justice. As a result, physicians were left scrambling to obtain affordable insurance. As a result of this medical liability crisis, the Chicago Medical Society formed an insurance agency to assist physicians practicing in Illinois with their insurance needs.
