Representing over 17,000 physicians, the Chicago Medical Society (CMS) is one of the largest and most active county medical societies in the country. CMS is a charter component of the Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS) and membership is required in both organizations.
As a member of CMS and ISMS you will have access to both organizations resources and the extensive expertise of its staffs. CMS and ISMS offer physicians the opportunity to learn about trends in the practice of medicine through committee participation, policy development, educational seminars, and publications.
